How to get more clients using the Law of Attraction

I remember sitting on my living room floor ten years ago, surrounded by text books as I studied for my final high school exams, fascinated by the documentary that played before my eyes on the TV in-front of me. It was called ‘The Secret’.

I laughed with my sister as the man in the movie described how he magically manifested the exact house he had pinned on his ‘vision board’ a few years earlier. We giggled to ourselves, wondering ‘how it could be so easy’ when our parents and grandparents had instilled in us that we had to work god damn hard for every single little thing we wanted in our life. At that point I deemed The Law of Attraction a load of coo-coo and went on with my life.

Fast forward 10 years, I had ticked off just about everything on my ‘things to do before I’m 30’ bucket list but I was so sick and burnt out from trying to achieve it all that I slipped into the darkest night of the soul and knew there just had to be another way. The Law of Attraction re-entered my life and I’ve been harnessing the power of this law ever since.

So, what is the law of attraction?

According to The Secret, “under the Law of Attraction the complete order of the Universe is determined, including everything that comes into your life and everything that you experience. It does so through the magnetic power of your thoughts.

Through the Law of Attraction like attracts like. What you think about, you bring about. 

Under laboratory conditions, cutting edge science has confirmed that every thought is made up of energy and has its own unique frequency. And when this energy and frequency of a single thought radiates out into the Universe, it naturally interacts with the material world. Of course, it has long been known that matter, or physical objects, are also just packets of energy at the sub-microscopic, quantum level. And so, as your thought radiates out, it attracts the energy and frequencies of like thoughts, like objects, and even like people, and draws those things back to you.

It follows then that your THOUGHTS… BECOME… THINGS!”

How to use the law of attraction to land clients?

The Law of Attraction is a powerful force you can harness to help you grow your business. If you can attract your dream house using this law, you can also attract dream clients too. 

Maybe, you’ve spent the last while using all the strategies in the world but you aren’t hitting the sales goals you truly desire. As a marketing strategist, I believe you must have a killer strategy to grow your business- they get you results and I’ve seen it time and time again whilst growing multi-million dollar brands over the last decade.

But if there’s a magical force at play who can make it easier for you to get to that dreamy destination of 50k months, client calls by the pool and 3 hour work days- then why not use it! I used the Law of Attraction to get my first ever client. It happened so effortlessly I knew it was divine. 

Here is my exact process for using the Law of Attraction to get more clients.

Step 1- Ask to attract your dream client.

The first step of the Law of Attraction is all about the ask! This has to be my favourite step of all as we are quite literally putting in our order or ‘wish list’ and handing it over to the universe. 

Most of the time as entrepreneurs we have our heads down in our laptops, doing a million things like creating Instagram posts, chatting in Facebook groups, and creating endless freebies. We are doing #allthethings in the hopes of landing more clients without having even done the first simple step of asking to land clients and getting crystal clear on who it is we want to attract! 

The goal here is to get clear on your dream client- without this you’ll likely be delivered a less than ideal client who doesn’t really light up or your soul.

Blase just ain’t going to work here sorry!  Just like when your grandma asked you ‘What do you want for your birthday, young lady?’ .You said ‘anything’ when deep down you wanted the new Britney Spears album, but you got another one of nan’s floral teacups. Declare what you want and be specific!

Here’s what I recommend. Get off Instagram, put your phone in another room and get cozy and quiet. Grab a journal and really think about what it looks like to bring in these new clients into your business. 

What does your dream client look like?

How does your dream client make you feel?

What would you be working on together? 

What are you seeking from your dream client?

How many dream clients do you want to work with at one time?

This is your chance to dream and be playful like a child. Use your imagination and write down whatever comes to mind. Truly feel what it would feel like to attract your dream client into your life. Allow your thoughts to flow without judgment. 

Once you’ve gotten clear on these dream clients you wish to attract, then ASK for them to be directed into your life.

Step 2- Believe you will attract your dream client.

The second step of the Law of Attraction is to believe you will receive whatever it is that you have asked for. It’s about having faith that your dream client is being attracted to you in divine timing. 

Believing requires true strength and trust for entrepreneurs. In this digital world, it’s so easy to be in a state of lack when we aren’t hitting those sales goals. We see all the other #girlbosses out there celebrating 100k months and 7 figure launches and we sit there wondering what’s wrong with me! (hint: nothing!)

This is often the most difficult step and most uncomfortable (but necessary) work for my clients. As a Marketing Strategist, I can pull together the most epic plan for your business to hit your revenue target but if you don’t truly believe deep down in your heart it is possible for you to attract the dreamiest of clients and hit that 10k or 50k month you may not reach it (harsh, but true).

I like to go super deep into this step and cover what a lot of Law of Attraction teachers miss out on- this includes delving into the subconscious mind and becoming aware of the limiting beliefs that are holding you back. You see, you may consciously want and ‘believe’ you can achieve it, but your subconscious mind might be running a whole different program, like…

  • If i hit my sales goal that means I’m going to be too busy and I started this business for more freedom, not more responsibility.
  • My parent’s said rich people are greedy, and reaching my goal will mean my family won’t like me anymore. 
  • If i hit my sales goal, that means I will have to show up as my true self online and i don’t think it’s safe for me to share my truth in public.
  • I don’t think i’m smart enough to be able to personally support these clients by myself.

These are just some examples of the records your subconscious mind may be running- and because this part of our mind runs our life 95% of the time it’s really important we are aware of these limiting beliefs and can re-write the story that it is safe to bring in our dream clients. 

Step 3- Receive your dream client.

The final step of the Law of Attraction is receiving. It’s about embodying and being in a state of allowance in order to draw your dream clients to you. 

In order to receive, you must become a ‘vibrational match’ for what you want to attract into your life. This means focussing on creating positive emotions of love, joy, appreciation, and gratitude throughout your day. Focus on showing up in your business as your authentic self.

Receiving doesn’t mean waiting back and doing nothing, waiting for your desires to be delivered to you on a golden platter. We must be an active participant of the process by following those intuitive nudges and taking inspired action. 

It’s a journey of building trust with our inner intuition- this isn’t some woo woo thing only psychics have it’s that inner guidance system always leading us. For me that has looked like finally sitting down and reading that book that’s been on my mind for months, listening to a podcast that catches my attention or journaling practices to get in tune with my higher self. These little things gave me the information I needed to take the next baby steps.

Another important point to note here, make sure your business actually has channels open for you to receive. If you aren’t promoting your services or aren’t doing an effective job of communicating your value you are making it harder for that dream client to sign up with you. We are a co-creator and we must also play our part in manifesting our clients. 

Once these dream clients do arrive (and they will!), congratulate yourself! You are an entrepreneur here with real purpose and you are worthy of everything you desire.
